Fans are turning these shirts into chic modern pieces by bleaching random designs or patterns into the shirt. This trend is becoming one of the most popular of the 2016. Getting your hands on one of these shirts can be a hassle and time consuming. Black|Giraffes showing you how you can bleach your favorite t-shirt!

Supplies:
  1. Favorite T-Shirt
  2. Bleach
  3. Bucket
  4. Gloves
  5. Spray Bottle (Optional)
Step 1 - Pour two cups of bleach into a bucket. Then add three cups of water into the bucket. Be sure to add the water slowly so the bleach mixture does not splash.

Step 2 - Dip your favorite shirt into the bucket with the mixture. Make sure that you only dip the part that you would like to bleach. **Make sure you do not get the rest of the shirt wet.** For a splattered effect on the shirt add solution in an empty spray bottle. Spray solution onto the shirt randomly for splatted look.

Step 3 - Keep the portion of the shirt submerged in the solution for 20 minutes to an hour. For an ombre effect pull the shirt out of the solution every 15 minutes until you’ve reach the end of the shirt.

Step 4 - Rinse the shirt out in running water until the solution is out of the shirt. You can also put the shirt into the washing machine with some detergent **Make sure shirt is alone** do not add other clothing to the wash as the solution will bleed onto the clothes.

Step 5 - Dry and wear!
